Welcome to Dynamic Psychological Services

Natasha Reynolds, Psy.D.

Licensed Clinical Psychologist

About

Psychotherapy is a unique space that offers a supportive, non-judgmental environment in which one may explore, heal, understand, challenge, and grow.  I specialize in working with adults and adolescents who are struggling with anxiety, panic, depression, life-transitions, and trauma.  Stress, worry, overwhelm, fear, disconnection, and confusion can interfere with living meaningfully, effectively, and feeling fully ‘alive.’   Psychotherapy can offer a space to deeply explore these conflicts, and untangle interferences.  In therapy, we can work toward your goals, reduce suffering, and increase connection with yourself and others.

I am deeply passionate about engaging with clients in the space between the science and art of psychotherapy.  While my approach is informed by research, theory, and experience, it is the particularities of your goals, experiences, and our working relationship that will shape the therapy.  The type of work I do emphasizes active collaboration, curiosity, and values respectful understanding of how life experiences and relationship patterns can impact current feelings, interactions, and behaviors.

Alongside my clinical practice, I am Clinical Associate Faculty at the Chicago Center for Psychoanalysis (CCP), supervise clinical work, and intermittently teach at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in the doctoral clinical psychology program.  I also teach and consult for psychotherapists living in China with the Psychoanalytic English Consultation for Chinese Psychotherapists.

Training and Experience

I completed my doctorate of psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, as well as my pre- and post-doctoral training at The Danielsen Institute at Boston University.  In conjunction, I also completed a two-year fellowship at The Chicago Center for Psychoanalysis.

My clinical training and experience has offered me great breadth and depth of experience in treating a wide range of psychological concerns with adults, adolescents, and children in a variety of settings including hospitals, outpatient clinics, university, and community mental health settings.  Some presenting difficulties I work with include depression, anxiety and panic attacks, life transition difficulties and stressors, self-esteem and identity concerns, relationship difficulties, death and grief counseling, gay, lesbian, and bisexual issues, acculturation and immigration issues, and spiritual and existential issues.

Coverage and Fees

In-Network Coverage:  I accept Blue Cross and Blue Shield PPO.

Out of Network Coverage:  I accept all other PPO insurance plans as an out-of-network provider.  Most insurance plans will help pay for treatment if your plan includes out-of-network benefits. If you would like to use your insurance, please contact your insurance company and ask what coverage you have for an out-of-network provider.  I will provide you with a statement that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Standard fees:  My rate for an initial in-person consultation is billed at $275, and ongoing psychotherapy sessions are billed at $225.
